QCT Friday Practicas/Milongas at North End Studio
Our regular Friday night QCT activities take place at North End Studio, 294 North Winooski Ave., Burlington VT . Details below.

Saturday, November 15
Alejandro Ziegler Quartet – concert and Milonga
North End Studios, Studio A
A riveting blend of tradition and innovation in Argentinean Tango. A special evening to dress up and dance! Non-dancers are warmly welcome to come and enjoy the evening with us.
Doors open 7:30pm
First set: Concert - Music for listening, 8pm
Second set: Music for dancing tango, 9:30pm
DJs Seyler and Lansky provide music for dancing between sets and 10:15-11pm
Entrada: $20 (students $10 with id), includes light refreshments

QCT Holiday Milonga

Shelburne Town Hall, 8pm to midnight
Includes a set of live music by LoTango, Michel Lajeunesse on accordion and Darienne Oaks on violin and vocals.
Light refreshments, Fancy dress!
Entrada: $15
Location: 5376 Shelburne Road, on Route 7 just south of Harbor Road. Parking lot available behind the building (please do not block access to the Firehouse).
Winter weather strategy – if it becomes necessary to cancel due to severe weather, the information will be posted on the Queen City Tango Facebook page by 4pm.

Beginner & Intermediate Tango with Elizabeth Seyler
Champlain Club
0:30-11:30 Molinete Mischief. Come twirl and spin in this twisty, sultry standard of the tango vocabulary. For adv beginners familiar with ochos. Students from the fall Beginner Immersions are welcome!
11:30-12 Open Dancing
12-1 Milonga Mania. We'll learn common patterns for richly rhythmic milonga experiences. For intermediate dancers working in close embrace.
$14/class includes open dancing.  RSVPs appreciated

Tao Practica ~ The Workings of Tango with Elizabeth Seyler
Tao Motion Studio, 180 Flynn Ave, Burlington Mondays ~ 7-9 pm   
$10 / Free for full-time students with ID 
A lights-up, casual-dress practica to help dancers improve technique, practice known patterns, and explore new material on your own.  Both roles and dancing with everyone welcome and encouraged. Bring your own water bottle.
 7-7:45 Optional Guided Drills for improving walking, pivoting, balance, strength, alignment, musicality, posture, etc.  (Participate in drills or do your own thing.)
7:45-9 Practica Continues -- Work alone or with a partner. I'll be available to answer specific questions.

Tao Practica is intended to serve dancers with tango experience, some of whom may wish to work on material with specific partners. It is for largely self-directed, collaborative practice among dancers with at least four focused months of tango experience. Some dancers are likely to rotate little or not at all.   Not for beginners.

Elizabeth Seyler invites you to make your wedding dance memorable with the intimacy and elegance of Argentine tango.  Through private lessons and/or group classes, she helps couples feel well prepared for their first dance as newlyweds, whether beginners or experienced dancers.  Couples of all orientations are warmly welcomed.
